Approach
The challenge was creating a premium, collectible format that balanced nostalgic storytelling with the clarity and quality associated with the Childrensalon brand. Working collaboratively with the internal creative team and illustrator, I developed the outer box concept and character direction, evolving early ideas into a clearer and more premium visual world across multiple packaging formats.

The challenge was creating a premium, collectible format that balanced nostalgic storytelling with the clarity and quality associated with the Childrensalon brand. Working collaboratively with the internal creative team and illustrator, I developed the outer box concept and character direction, evolving early ideas into a clearer and more premium visual world across multiple packaging formats.

Early concept exploration began through AI-generated references, which I developed into a more considered direction through framing, colour and layout across multiple packaging formats. To bring greater clarity and premium detail to the concept, I proposed evolving the direction into a fully illustrated execution, working closely with the illustrator to refine characters and shape the final visual world.




Outcome
The final concept transformed the packaging into a keepsake-style festive experience that extended beyond gifting into play and interaction, contributing to strong engagement alongside a 30% increase in sales and 5K units sold during the festive period.
